This is a beautiful song I learned when I was a kid. It came from a Hosanna tape called "Psalms in Song," which I cannot find anywhere, nor the tracks to any of the tunes, so here's what I remember after all these years! It's based on the following excerpt from Psalm 146:7-10,
"He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry.
The LORD sets prisoners free,
the LORD gives sight to the blind,
the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the righteous.
The LORD watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked."
Enjoy!
And sorry, you do have to crank the volume all the way up. If I can get a better audio output, I'll repost.
