Northern Ireland is a country that is part of the United Kingdom and is situated in the north-east of the island of Ireland. It shares a border with the Republic of Ireland to the south and west. Yes that's fine, for sports like Rugby and Cricket we have an all Ireland team. But for Football we have our own National side. It was a a country formed in 1921 were both irish and British people decided. We have our own Government just like any other Country. And what you're saying to me is that England, Scotland and Wales are not Countries. You ask anyone down south is N.I a country, they will say yes.

Northern ireland is nothing but a territory. the head ruler of it is Queen elizabeth. every territory has its own goverment. its just like saying puerto rico or guam is a country. they have their own flag and government but they are still ruled by another country.

Yes within the UK all Countries are ruled under Queen Elizabeth. England, Scotland, Wales and N.I are but we're still seperate Countries. Canada therfore is not a Country. We have our own currency, flag, Government, National Anthem, all indicators of a Country. We are not some minor Principalitie.

If what you're saying is correct that Northern Ireland isn't a country and thus a "territory" then Canada isn't a country and up to 1783 USA wasn't a recognised country? Man you talk shite. If you look at what you're saying you claim that England, Scotland, Wales and indeed Northern Ireland don't exist as separate countries but as a large territory known as the "United Kingdom" are North and South Korea separate countries?
