  • Has anyone tried the 580's? I'm really interested in getting a pair.

  • Out of all models, that one is actually my favorite. The bass response is good without hitting too hard. The ear cups are smaller than on the Pro series and they are not removable, so you get slightly better isolation.

  • hows the bass on HFI 580 using an ipod?????is it too over the top?

  • I do not think so and I have sensitive ears. Just remember that each individual hears differently based on your ear structure. Check them out! Don't think that they will disappoint you, that's for sure!

  • I'm thinking about getting the 780's. Are they made in Germany?

How do they compare to the Beyerdynamic DT770's?

  • The 780's are perfect for mixing! The main and very important difference is that the Ultrasones have a off set driver which allows you to hear naturally rather than directly channeling the music straight down the ear canal. Giving you less fatigue and a natural surround sound.
