@87mrks Hah, 1000 years. Imagine 10^(10^(10^100)) years (googolplexplex years).
And even then you will have spent approximately 0% of your total time allotted to you in heaven.

@87mrks eww...

what are you suppose to do in heaven for all eternity?
i mean, after you've done everything after about 500 years, what then?
i get tired of stuff after a coulpe of weeks, and what about people who lives for discovering new things about the reality we live in, if it is astronomy or aerodynamics?
that won't be possible in heaven because there is no laws of fysics there.
i don't whant to live for an eternity after this life. after a 1000 years i would have gone crazy, eating my own shit and stuf

@PilotJ555 wrote, "Why can't people respect other peoples beliefs? It is not directly affecting you is it? No it's not."
the Christian movement wants to replace science with creationism. Wants to prevent wellness by preventing stem cell research. Removes human rights (same sex marriage). Is obsessed with the middle east.
R\emeber when the Catholics ran the show for a 1,000 years? Oh yeah... lots of respect for "others' beliefs".
Christianity = hypocrasy

@quantumleap7219 Humans, animals, any living mammal will scream out in the face of death. It's called FEAR. You're having so much adrenaline pumping through your veins, you scream out. Sadness is what someone would feel when their loved ones are gone, and in which case woud not have an automatic reactionary scream, if they scream at all. A more normal physical response of feeling sadness would be crying, and not very much screaming. Screaming is FEAR. In this case, fear of death.

I thought God is supposed to be omnipotent, doesn't that "fact" negate the reasoning behind prayer?
You sir, are a fucking genius.

@graysonTW Its not quite as brave if you see death as just a passage to a better life. Confronting death as an atheist is much more daunting because of its permanence. It takes a degree of maturity. And as atheists, we don't see giving someone false hope as a positive thing.
