This is the movie I fell in love with Ginny Simms - classic beauty - I love the 40's look....

Ginny Simms quit the Kay Kyser band for one highly significant reason: Kay wouldn't marry her. They had dated for years but Kay was very much afraid of committment. He was shocked when Ginny made good on her threat to leave and as a result did in fact marry his next lead girl singer who expressed any interest: Georgia Carroll.

Saxophonist Ernie Caceres in this clip. He'd played with Miller, Hackett, and Teagarden. He does the very brief clarinet bit.
