@DestinedForSolitude I've a few bibles, one's small enough to fit in my backpack and I take it along on every canoe/camping trip. It's only useless crap if you can't fathom the useful information in it.

When I manage to get out for a full day, it takes a few hours for me shed the weight of all the world from my mind, Then I notice the patterns in the sky, the different shades of geren, and feel the sun, wind rain. smell the earth, grass and water. Then I have no doubt that it was all created by God. If only we take the time. Always a little sad coming back to the car. I am a better person when I come back.
