German ww2 warships (especially bb's and bc's as well as the hc) were, by far, the most elegant and best good looking warships of ALL times..

S and G were ammongst the most graceful looking but were no match for a modern or modernised battleship , superb surface raiders though with their speed , even if they were very wet ships.

It was the German U-boats wich was the real threat to allied ships.

It is the typical design of Blohm and Voss with heavy armor. These ships were rather wet in heavy seas, therefore they received the so- called atlantic bow. When those ships went full speed it was an impressive sight!
