{Holding On Just Don't Make Sense}
So I can't make a legit goodbye video cause I cry to hard so this is about the best I can make. I can't explain what it's like not having Gracie anymore and how weird it is that I haven't seen her in about two months. Selling Flicka and selling Gracie are two totally different situations. I had more of a bond with Flicka but I only had her nine months. I had Gracie for more than three years. I have so many more memories with Gracie and I can hear almost any song and it will make me think of some sort of memory with Gracie. She taught me so much and tolerated everything. I rode her in water, down roads, to stores, through drive-thrus, and she never questioned it. I can't explain how hard it is for me. I miss Gracie so much and it would be really hard on me to see her. I'm not going into details but she is having some medical problems and I can't help think if I kept her and didn't sell her would things be different? Would she be okay and healthy now? Like while I'm typing this I'm crying. I just can't explain how it feels. Gracie and I came a long way. Everyone pointed out every flaw. How she didn't extend at the trot, how she never cleared jumps, how she had bad confirmation, and how she was a bad mover. But that's the thing, I didn't buy her because I needed a fancy show pony. I bought her because I needed a pony to take care of me. And she was perfect for that. She always took care of me. If I was nervous at a show she would go around the ring and jump no problem. She eventually got auto lead changes for me, I could ride her bareback and bridle less and she would listen. I feel like I did accomplish a lot with Gracie and I wish I could have kept her....I'm still trying to find a reason why I didn't....
