this was a 20 years old, 24V AIR 403. It was on pole 20 years without any service. My friend gave it to me for free because it was blocked for the last few years.
I have found that 2 old magnets flew away from rotor and made mess in stator.
So I changed all magnets with much stronger N48. The other problem is that some burned resistors falling from the electronic controller. I can't fix it because it is all under fat layer of black plastic.
However I was wondering if the stronger magnets make bigger cogging and load propeller too much. Then I connected a 12V 7Ah battery to see what comes out from damaged controller. The amp meter is showing Amps of charging on 2.5-7 m/s wind.
Not so bad actually.
I'm planing to rewind stator with new 3 phases and to disconect internal regulator and use external one.
