So I did this last year for a project for my Feminine Perspective class. Our final group assignment was "Women in____". My group decided to do faerie tales.
Haha, this totally sucks! It truely isn't ment to be a work of art or anything...seriously it's crap.
So the night before this was due I realized: HOLY CANOLLI! I was supposed to put together a video....shit. So I spent the next several hours (until 3 in the morning) scouring DevArt for the slides and writing the less than perfect script. THEN! The next day in class: It WOULDN'T WORK ON THE COMPUTER!! D: IT DIDN'T FIND THE PICTURES!! So after a moment of panicing, we used one of the other people's laptops. The sound didn't work but oh well.
Windows movie maker only accepts WMA files for audio! So I was stuck with a Creed song, most every thing else on I have is MP3. So today, I spent a few hours trying to figure out how to convert the file types cause I REALLY wanted to use Shalott, By Emilie Autumn. (the song seemed to fit in my opinion) I couldn't find a way and then I realized that my friend and carpool buddy Lauren and burned me the CD so I went and found it in my room and uploaded it through Windows Media Player...Really, it shouldn't have been that hard to make this whole thing but what can I say: I'm a tard!
ALL ART BELONGS TO THE RIGHTFUL OWNER, NOT ME!
Amusing concept for a school project, I really enjoyed that. What would also be interesting is a follow up of how the faerie tale generation influenced women's roles in them. But then again, I'm a nerd. :)
