  • Sinking Old Sanctuary theme is one the best Castlevania songs of all time.

  • It is. I'm surprised it hasn't been remixed as many times as Vampire Killer, Bloody Tears and the like.

  • best song imo as well

  • @n15pca Agreed they really need to do a new mix of it in the next Metroidvania installments on the DS, Or the first 3-DS Castlevania they do one of these days!

  • hated those golf balls going in circles and the music always made me sleepy, but this game is just the one of the best ever

  • @n15pca ..this music evokes a certain deeper emotion in me when I play this level.. its so mysterious, dark and beautiful all at the same time and fits perfectly with an old greek mythology style ruins of a level..

    amazing track

  • This was also reused in Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness in the Art Tower if no one has already mentioned it.

It's a shame. I own all three of those games (CotM being my first GBA game), and have been given so many hours of fun from each one. They're all good in their own ways, yet, in my opinion, CotM had the best music, overall.

  • @ElazulsCore Yup! I remember it from that game too. Though unfortunately CotM is a hugely underrated CV game, it was overshadowed by Harmony of Dissonance and Aria of Sorrow.

  • Oh yah, this song plays in an area within CV: Circle of the Moon.

  • Castlevania Bloodlines wasn't the first CV game I've played, but it did get me to continue playing the series. Konami, thanks for throwing us Genesis/Mega Drive owners a bone with this game. With that said, this is one of my favorite BGMs from the game. Michiru Yamane is a video game music goddess.
