@blindtoo are you thinking of getting another? i cant imagine loosing my greenwing. and i havent even owned him for a year. we all bond to our birds more then we can even imagine. im so sorry. i hope you feel better. god bless.

I'm so sorry. I guess six years ago I went to work and my Moluccan, Muriko, didn't seem her usual self.
I'd rescued her from a cold, unsheltered outside aviary situation 25 years ago on the cold, rainy Oregon coast. I came in, picked her up out of her cage and a few minutes later squeaked a little and she did in my arms. I sold her cage, didn't think I'd ever have another. But tonight there is a 19 yo Moluccan named Cassie and she's only been with me for three weeks. I know your loss.

In May he had a major seizure and cried out, I picked him up and held him on the sofa, and within five minutes he passed away. He had seizures before, I guess this one was worse... I'm still heartbroken, I had him for 19 years and didn't think I would lose him so soon.

I am sorry for your loss..I know just how you feel...my parrotlet, Oscar passed a few months ago and I'm still so upset and I miss him so much </3 Oscar used to laugh when we laughed...the more he copied us laughing, the harder we laughed and it just went on and on hehe

I wish I got him on video chuckling... he did that sometimes and it sounded a lot like me. He didn't make many sounds, but the tongue clicking showed me he was happy and content. I miss that so much!
