I think the criticism on this is a little too harsh. The guitarist has an interesting take on the original and it's not an easy cover to pull off.

A Quick One is on the soundtrack. You should check out the Rushmore movie soundtrack - it's Brit 60's rock, with loads of instrumentals by Mark Mothersbaugh. They're quirky and full of personality. You'll love it.
