Maureen Midgley is the Executive Director, Global Paint & Polymer CenterGeneral Motors. Following in the footsteps of her father — who worked at GM for 40 years — Maureen is responsible for the technologies used around the world in the coating process, corrosion-protection and the general appearance of GM's autos. She helped to develop and implement state-of-the-art and environmentally sound painting facilities at the recently redesigned GM plant in Orion Township, Michigan. Maureen says what they've learned at the Orion assembly plant will allow for the process to be rolled out globally — and that means greater efficiency in the production of every GM vehicle made.
