@redwoodowl That is amazing! I never hear this song without thinking of Rick. It gives me peace. I wonder if the folks writing these songs have any idea how a listener may be effected some day? This song is a gift.

Incredibly, my "big brother" was also killed in a motorcycle accident!

@redwoodowl I am so sorry for your loss. A similar thing happened to me. I had the radio on as I was going to sleep. This was in 1981 and I feel asleep to this song. I awoke to the phone ringing. My mother was calling to say my cousin was killed in a motorcycle accident. I asked her what time it happened. Between 1230-1245 AM. I was hearing this song at 1240. It was as if he was waving goodbye.
