The good thing about being on my backup computer is that I can access certain files I haven't seen in a bit. In that vein, I re-present a January 1974 episode of Match Game!

Brenda Lee is the champ and has $6,300 thus far. Will she add to it, or will Janet unseat her and go to the Super Match?

No copyright infringement is intended. Commercials are included.

Panel: Joe Flynn, Brett Somers, Charles Nelson Reilly, Linda Kaye Henning, Richard Dawson, and Betty White (whose birthday was celebrated).

  • Thank you for this entire version including the slate and the director's cut, plus teh start of the final segmant from one of SGSA's Role Rehearsals. Betty was 62. If any of you found the same episode for the actual broadcasting (like GSN), we'll find out which parts were edited.

  • At the time I post this, GSN is airing this episode.

  • 28.45--Gene Rayburn blooper!!!!!!!!

  • One movie that was interesting with Joe Flynn was called "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes", released in 1969. It starred a young Kurt Russell.

  • Final TV appearance, according to Wikipedia, of Joe Flynn of "McHale's Navy" fame. He died six months later. Was found in his pool and believed to have suffered a heart attack while swimming.

  • You can't see Betty is 52 here!! Love match game :D

  • @tallboyyyy Yes it is.

  • @McBearNB I think Betty was actually 52 as she just turned 90

  • At 19:46 the Spaghetti O's commercial, is that Barry Manilow singing the jingle?? It sounds like him.

  • and no CBS promos for this thursday evening's episode of "The Waltons" or anything right?
