Humans even the most stupid of us are incredibly complicated. its true what they say here we dont realize how much computative power you need to simply move about. We are pretty much having to reverse engineer millions of years worth of natures work to be able to give it to some other form of intelligent life, completely different from ourselves yet that will be able to interact with us like no other creature on this planet.

Not if we have anything to do with it. We're doing a good enough job of hastening our extinction. But, if AI "acquire" independence before we annihilate ourselves, then it maybe the one thing to stave off certain human extinction.

This may be the way that the human brain capacity finally puts a stop to nature's predictable cycles of extinction. ;D
