  • i would have sold my car to get to this gig...

  • awsome band saw them twice. unforgetable music

  • Lucky enough to see them at The Barn in Riverside with The Promise Ring after getting shut out of the Huntington Beach Library the night before. Incredible bands. Incredible show. And no, there aren't bands nowadays comparable to that era. If there were, I'd be listening to them.

  • @moshmartyr right now there is not much going on that is "new"... it's all old bands, or just epic bands creating superbands...

  • @81iand - so lucky dude. had the pleasure of catching the Cap'n Jazz reunion here in Chicago. Was awesome, but TITR would've been so much sweeter.

  • @montessaurus It was alot of fun

  • Great band !

  • @fatpak419 Why jealousy? There's plenty of good music scenes going on right now, you just gotta look for em. I remember getting handed a flyer for a Texas show when I saw Lifetime at CBGB's back in the day. It was handwritten on pink photocopy paper. You just gotta find something going on now. To envy the past is futile when there's so much happening right now.

  • I am jealous. I wish I was there and I wish their successors understood the importance of "Do You Know Who You Are?" That album laid the groundwork for some great, mostly bad, inspired works that created the "emo" scene. Heartfelt and honest songwriting first, accolades later. Thanks for doing it the right way.
