  • Bro, thanks for putting this out man. My grandpa was a SeaBee but he didn't talk much about it. except plenty of tall tales, some true about waking up to find his fox hole buddy dead shot between the eyes & a few other tales. I never asked much after that . He was fighting in the Islands at age 16 or 17. This was visually informative. Do you know anything about the U.S.S. Kwajaein, or anything that'd help me understand what he went through better? That's the ship he served on back in the day.

  • @Visionarydave444 Sorry it took me so long to reply but I have been afk a lot lately cuz I'm back in school. Dont know anything about the ship you mentioned but I will Put out some fliers and see if I can get any info. BTW your grandpa is a hero and a member of the most elite family on the planet.

He was the toughest guy I knew. worked 3 jobs and shoveled his own snow even in his 70s. The Seabees are forgoten bunch of heros. I hope to be one here shortly. GOD BLESS THE SEABEES PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE!
