I found this wonderful backing a few weeks ago - and yes, I know it's way too deep even for my "man-voice", and even when I transposed it up about 4 semitones - so sorry about those loooow notes :D But I just loved this arrangement so much that I had to sing it... After all.. ijustwanttosing ;D

And .. as usual - this is a one-take recording ... I guess mainly because I'm too lazy to edit and mix different tracks :D

I made a video with some of my favourite sad scenes from some of my favourite movies with some of my favourite actors and actresses... hope you like it

  • This is amazing! Could you tell me what movie the last clip is from? I thought i had seen all of Irene Dunne's movies!

  • @coolkid1234533 It is the last scene in Consolation Marriage (1931) - Glad you liked my video

  • As I was listening to your beautiful voice Kari I was watching the footage from these classic films and what I love the most about these older films are not just the acting in general but the way women acted specificially. Women had more class in films and was more able to convey so much emotion on their faces and in these particular footages they were able to portray heartache. You don't find that in many films today. Todays films are just so different from the classics of yesterday.

  • @MusicLoverBrian1 Which is why I have almost completely stopped watching new movies.. I am so in love with the movies from the 30's and 40's .. And I always fall deeply in love with the women.. Greer Garson, Jean Arthur, Claudette Colbert, Katharine Hepburn, Irene Dunne, Myrna Loy, Mary Astor etc etc etc...

A classic a day keeps the doctor away ;-)
