Conflict has forced more than 3 million Colombians to flee their homes and seek shelter elsewhere in the country. The majority have migrated to cities seeking anonymity, safety and a way to make a living. But many find urban life traumatizing.

  • I feel sorry for all the difficulties these incredible people have to face every day! Colombians are beautiful people, inside and outside! Hope everything get back to normal soon and they can return to their homes or find a safe and comfortable place to live...

  • Blame the FARC and paramilitars...these peasants with everything in their farms were forced to leave their homes so these terrorists could get those properties as their own... And yes, the city life is tough for them. Hopefully with all the programs the Colombian government is creating to get them back to their lands, they could make a happy return.

  • Thanks UNHCR for this beautiful initiative!!! The Colombian population needs your help and support!
