Fatality Trailer

I have a feeling that this film would look pretty damn cool even if every single frame weren't rotoscoped. The look of this film is that of Underworld crossed with A Scanner Darkly. The result is pure eye candy; great fun, action and intrigue.

The plot? I think I should let the film's press notes cover that (copied verbatim): Each of us has it's own attraction to something unknown and forbidden. Exactly this passion is pushing the heroes of the movie "Fatality" to make the fatal decisions: a young filmmaker is given a order to shoot the real murder, two sisters are going to the big city with the aim to rob the money-bags, the mysterious hero is going through the streets and searching for a new victim. Perhaps the destiny is playing with them. Perhaps they play with the destiny. Finally somebody or something will win the game.


Honestly, now... what more can you possibly ask for in a moviegoing experience? The translation (actual quote: "When I make a lot of money I'll go shopping for an expensive silk underwear all year around.") is easily forgiven—and only adds to the fun! Fatality fits in quite nicely to the impressive cannon of Russian Fantastik Cinema.
