yeah, but that's lame. its totally random. it would be like watching spider man, and instead of spiderman defeating the green goblin in their final encounter, the green goblin dies randomly while they are talking.

just 2 say the reason they didnt die at the end...they explained it at one point, a cant remeber the details but its summit to do with the fact that as soon as it has reached its maximum sensitivity (when only one person the old crazy lady was needed to set it off) it will just stop....true it sounds dumb but it kinda explained

well, while they did explain it, i was more going for the fact that IMO the explanaiton was kind of far fetched. it seemed like they really had to fish to find something

and yes, i did take some liberties with what i said for the sake of humor. thats what the root of most of my 'inconsistencies' with the film is.

I do sooo agree to what you are saying. My friends and I saw it in cinemas and there was like girls behind me (who actually didn't know which movie they were on untill it started) who started crying throughout the movie, and I sat there and tried to hide my laughterXP

Things really just happen without a reason, kinda annoying at times, but maby it is why they called it Teh Happening (just a thought, lol)

The best part of the movie was the two old women knitting with their gasmasks on, LOL!

yeah, the gasmask scene was definately the best part of the movie, which normally wouldnt be saying much, but in this case it was actually REALLY funny lol

I actually really liked the movie...

Maybe some random things happened in the movie, but isn't that in every movie? It would be very tiring if they focused on the story the whole time.

And I think most of the things in the movie were explained. Like the fake house was a model and they didn't die because when something gets at it's worst point it always gets a lot better. And they were talking in that basement thingie for a long time. They made that very clear. It was over when they got outside.
