Took Westcote Delicia to Angley Stud. She is competing elementry, training medium level at the moment with limited experience in an indoor environment, so a little bit of a training tool.

Delicia is a 9 year old Hanovarian mare with Donnerhall/Sao Paulo bloodlines. She is still very green and very natural elastic ability to lenghten her strides. I have never really trained the extentions so have started to make them less baby like and more gymnastic. However, sometimes Delicia has other plans...

  • I know you've prob already been told this :P But try to keep the medium and ECSPECIALLY the extended within her rhythm range the whole way. Get your extended then maintain it for best result and don't be afraid to adjust the trot as your extending with half halts and your weight :) She just appears rush which is why she would've broken. Absoloutly gorgeous mare though with womderful mechanics! :D x

  • @macsqDressage8 she ran away with me a bit and got a bit too strong in the trot but i take on board your comments, many thanks xxx
