@foou707 The default Anti-Virus that ships with most computers sucks. Dell ships with Norton. Plus, my Dad has had 2 Dell computers for over 7 years each, I've had both mine for over 5, not a single issue.

@XboxNoLifes No they aren't, if you order a computer designed for home use, you will receive a home computer, and school's order their computers direct form the manufacture, so you are wrong.

@ipodclassic10 Well, school computers are the first computers shipped to houses. That run windows 2000 and cant run paint without lag.

Lol idiot. What computer you buy has NOTHING to do with getting a virus or not, it's about what operating system, an HP is just as likely to get a virus. Also HP is now much cheaper and lower quality than Dell.

technically it can, if you buy a dell with no antivirus shipped with it and an HP with one year of free antivirus, the HP is less likely. I am not saying this is the case though.
