@JarodANV Well in a choice between Craig and Dalton, Dalton does win, but Craig IMH is almost as good.

Tim Dalton is BOND, he's like an anti-hero in this one.

My personal opinions of the 6 actors.
1 - Lazenby: Played Bond closest to Fleming's novel interpretation.
2 - Craig: Just what the Bond franchise needed after Brosnan. Close to Lazenby.
3 - Dalton: Movies were good, but a little disappointment in them both.
4 - Connery: The original performance is always classic, but not best.
5 - Moore: Too much of a playboy, a joke almost.
6 - Brosnan: His last two films really left a bad taste in my mouth.

My ranking of the 6 Bond actors, best to worst:
1. Craig & Dalton tie - These two did (and do in Craig's case) Bond as his creator Ian Fleming meant him.
3. Connery & Brosnan tie - I know Connery was the first and is always praised, but iMO he was a bit too polished, not the "blunt instrument" Fleming described Bond as being. Same as with Brosnan, though I did enjoy their performances.
5. Lazenby - so-so.
6. Moore - CLOWN! The worst of the lot. Made Bond a joke!

Straight up my favorite film of the entire series. Timmy D was just BAD ASS in this one. You mess with a friend of Bond's, you get your empire destroyed piece by piece, and then you get roasted alive...as the movie posters said at the time, "The Most Dangerous Bond Yet"...Love the Craig, but Dalton did the gritty reboot first.
