@captainamerica1a Actually, what could be really good today would be Fraser solving cases in the Northwest Territories. We only get a tiny bit of that in the pilot, and references to it. It would be a totally different show, and yet still absolutely Fraser, and believable within the canon. And mobile phones would not change a thing. I live twelve miles from the nearest city 1000 feet up and don't get reception on my smartphone. In Northwest territories that would be even moreso, I'd think.

@captainamerica1a Well they did it with "Sherlock". I doubt Fraser would lean too much on the phone though - he'd stick with what he knew and use it only for backup.

I love those cell phones! XD Due South could not possibly come back nowaday: with our super mega cool tiny phones able to do everything, investigations would not be the same...
