Jessie Evans with Budgie (Siouxsie and The Banshees, Creatures, Slits) and Debora Saraiva (Sao Paulo) , playing at CSD Strassenfest Munich on July 9, 2011. There was maybe 20,000 people there as we got on the stage, then a deluge of rain came down and in 1 minute literally swept the entire crowd away, leaving about 7 people who desperately wanted to see the show clinging to the front of the stage for their life. The power went off and we played an acoustic version of Scientist of Love ..the remaining people were swept away except two lovers who were making out, and an old wizard man with long white hair ran up and was standing there freaking out in the front. It felt like the end of humanity. The promoters forced us to leave the stage as it was "dangerous". As we crossed the parking lot, thunder and lightning everywhere , flooding, there were about 15 little kids jumping in the puddles laughing and screaming. Filmed by Romain Frequency.
What a storm!
