Where you see "ever decreasing morals" I see lack of education, lack of personal responsibility, ever increasing bureacracy and government intervention and lack of personal freedom. What I feel you want to propose is illegalizing abortion which will only increase the number of illegal abortions which is not only fatal to the fetus but to the woman. Then we can bog the courts down with illegal abortion doctor cases and add to the bureacracy, but maybe that's what you want then.

wow. random aruguements. hate gets nowhere fast. consider this, those who support abortion fight capital punishment, and those who support capital punishment fight abortion. nobody's right. every case is different. you have a right to say and believe what you want as long as it does not infringe anothers to do so. I stand against abortion, but I respect views of those who support it because I can understand their viewpoints. I strive consistantly to question my own views, in hope for better.

@ChiefHoot Your implying that you don't believe the fetus is a sacred life...I can't reach any other conclusion. I'm sorry you see it that way. But your comparison of the removal of a health risk, uterine cancer, as a lifeform in relation to the removal of a human embryo or fetus is absurd. Cancer removal is the preservation of the life of those afflicted. Pregnancy is the creation & continuation of humanity.

I read what you wrote and understood. You believe that once the sperm and the egg meet and start to undergo mitosis that is the creation of sacred life. These are your beliefs and will probably never change. I do not see it as such. While I do not personally belief in abortion, I defend the right for it to exist. I made an argument quite awhile ago that uterine cancer is also a lifeform that grows in the womb and nobody has a problem killing that, and it's alive and has human DNA too.

@ChiefHoot You obviously didn't understand what I wrote. Read it again. My reasoning was the assumption that a fetus is already present. What a person does to prevent conception is wholly different. In an environment where the egg and sperm don't come together, there is no conception, no life. But an abortion snuffs out the life that is already there. It seems that many confuse abortion with birth control. The pill, condoms, etc. are forms of contraception. Abortion is the termination of life!

So by that reasoning the next logical step is that hysterectomies and vasectomies should be illegallized because while it's our body, those are the reproductive parts and have the potential to create life.

@ChiefHoot Was the fetus involved in the decision of it's own termination of LIFE? Yes, a woman (or man) has the right to do with their body what they want. But a fetus IS another (some)body. A life of it's own, being smothered out by the right of a woman to do with her body as she wants. Wouldn't you want to have a say in your right to be born? Think about that a while.
