  • I know exactly how you feel, I'll be 24 next month and I was just diagnosed with EDS last month. I had to wear a 24 hour heart monitor, I had an EKG done, I JUST started physio therapy, and in the next month, I have to go in for genetic testing,an echo cardiogram for my heart and aorta, and an ultrasound on my stomach. Should be fun :)

I just graduated from college for 3D animation, and I don't know if my hands will be able to keep working with computers or not.

    Thanks for posting the vid

    Chris

  • Hey, i've been through all that too. It's a lot of tests, I actually had to wear a 48hr monitor. It sucks, but easy. Good luck with everything!

  • Hi kerrilynn, did prolotherapy tighten your ligaments like they claim it does or make any difference and how many sesions have you had?

  • omg i cryed watching ur vids, good luck everyone and dont give up

  • I understand, 2. Surgery left me in severe chronic pain at age 21, right in the middle of jr year in college! Unable to continue, I dropped out. Dreams and ambitions vanished, as did my coll sweetheart. Three years later I was able to go back and finish a BS in biology, but have never been able to go further. It's really difficult to give up on the career path, and I'm not asking you to do that, but u have options. Keep doing the things you love & enjoy. Keep looking 4 solutions.

  • Hang in there!!! I'm a DC area comedian with EDS. Checkout my video when you get a chance it might give you a laugh

  • I understand how you feel, I am 32 and have a Master of Engineering that I can not longer do a damn thing with. It's an amazing loss. You are told when you are young that if you work hard and do good in school then you will automatically have a good life. Well, I did just that and guess what? I'm not going to have that 'good life'. I don't know if I'll ever be able to support myself again.

  • i'm 26...LOL! I know all about that grieving point..I'm dealing with it as I type this.

    lolol! HIGH FIVE!

    hang in there.

    xoxoxo
