rei is my fav in the series

she is so damn cool and beatiful

This music lifts me in a way I can't explain. Somthing about Rei that draws me toward her. It my be her emotion-less self slowly coming into realization. She's to much on my mind lately.

@dentrag all Rei are the same soul, with the same feelings and she goes trough a single story of hers only. (bad english yeah) that's why she cries when she takes Gendo's glasses into her hands, she has the feelings but not the memories (tough I take it she realiz(s?)es(z?) most things afterwards.) because she changes and that comes with a lot of controversia feelings and crying. Rei and her calvaria(???sorry) shows that you have to die a little to change, you give up something of yourself.

she just never got the pure action scene she was intended for...but those "misses" make evangelion to what it is

Actually, I think that Rei III had MORE INTENSE feelings for Shinji than Rei II did. She gives up godhood to him and decides to not manipulate him in any way. She does something that Rei II would not have done for him. She betrays Gendo Ikari. Shame she was muddled when he first saw her.

The only reason people dont embrace animes as beautiful as evangelion, is because the majority of followers and fanboys dress up as characters, and the whole culture of anime is steeped in babylon-like imagery. the blood runs through the streets.

its a shame that rei 3 did not have the feelings that rei 2 had for shinji, that is one of the resons shinji was driven to depresion :( NGE was much more emotional than i thot would be :(
