Ch. 46
Last chapter Nick left the practice before the concert. Kaitlyn found him at circle of Friends. When they started talking, they kissed. Nick asked Kaitlyn why she left him.
REMEMBER: Kaitlyn is still worried that she is causing trouble for her and Nick.
Kaitlyn walked out of Circle of Friend feeling satisfied, but also worried because she could feel the hurt coming. She walked home fast.
While she was walking, she thought about what had just happened.
FLASBACK
They are both sitting on the couch.
Nick—Why did you leave me?
Kaitlyn--*looking down* Well its hard to explain.
Nick—Just try. *Puts his hand under her chin and lifts up her head she he can look at her. * Please?
Kaitlyn--*takes his hand from under her chin and holds it in her lap* Okay. Well, after the whole Sam incident, *they both cringe at it* I kind of had a small break down. I realized that because of me that happened. Because of me you have that scar. *flips his hand over and pointed to the LOVE scar* Because of ME you could have died. And I didnt want to cause that anymore
Nick--*smiles warmly at her* Kaitlyn, *he becomes suddenly intensely serious* I love you and it doesnt matter that Sam was trying to kill me or that he gave me that scar. All that matters is that Im with YOU. *takes her face in his hands* Because whats in my hands right now is something I can not live without seeing.
Kaitlyn--*smiles* *Puts her hands on his face* and I cant live without seeing you either. I thought I could, but I couldnt. I know who I cant live without.
Kaitlyn looked into his eyes and he looked back. They leaned in and kissed each other very passionately. He put his hand on her back and pushed her closer to him. Kaitlyn locked her hands around him getting her hands tangled in his hair. After a couple of minutes of this Kaitlyn sighed and stopped kissing him. But Nick wasnt finished he started kissing her neck.
Kaitlyn--*sighs* Nick. *Pats his curly hair. * Nick I have to go.
Nick--*moves to kiss her shoulder* Why?
Kaitlyn—Because Elliot will wonder where I am.
Nick--*still kissing her shoulder* didnt you tell him?
Kaitlyn—Well no, but he was watching T.V. with me when the story about you leaving came on so probably knows.
Nick—*kissing down her arm* Then why should we leave?
Kaitlyn—Because you have to get back to your brothers for the concert tonight.
Nick--*starts kissing her hand for a while and then sighs stops and looks up at her* Okay. Will you come with me?
Kaitlyn—Nick you know I want to, but I cant yet. I need to get my thoughts together. Can I please just have a little time?
Nick—Okay. I guess thats fair.
FLASHBACK OVER
They had both walked away, leaving the opposite ways.
Kaitlyn had starting running home when she heard someone yelling her name. She stops and turns around. She sees Nick running after her.
Nick—Kaitlyn! Wait up! *He runs up to her* *Breathing heavily* Glad I caught you.
Kaitlyn—Why?
NICK—I was going to give you something before you umleft me.
Kaitlyn—What is it?
Nick—Well here. *Pulls out something from his pocket. * Its a ring. A purity ring to be exact. I knew you wanted one after your bracelet broke.
Kaitlyn—Wow.
Nick—Well here Ill put it on. *He slides it on her ring on her left hand. * Hope you like it.
Kaitlyn looks at the silver ring on her finger. There are words on it. It says Love is precious, so is time. And a cross into it.
Kaitlyn—I love it.
Nick—Really? *smiling huge* Oh and on the inside my name and your name are carved.
Kaitlyn takes off the ring and looks on the inside. Its says Kaitlyn and Nick=Forever love She puts it back.
Kaitlyn—Oh my gosh. I love it. *She hugs him. He hugs her back her beck and kisses her forehead softly* Well
Nick—Yeah, I know you have to go.
Kaitlyn—Call me?
Nick—Absolutely. Oh and here, *takes out some papers from his back pocket* here just in case.
They are two backstage passes to the concert that night. (Nick still has no idea that she has tickets to that concert)
Kaitlyn--*smiles* Thanks Nick. *she kisses him then starts walking away.*
