I guess I don't know what I'm feeding anymore. I'll just have to wait patiently to see what it turns out too be. Anyone know when i'll be able to tell?
If it is actually lapping the liquid is is definitely not an opossum - they do not have an actual mouth at that age. Just a small hole which is filled by the mother's nippleand milk is pumped in . That is why you must use a syringe or tube with a baby opossum.
What ever happened with this little guy? Did it survive? What did it end up being?
By the markings, I'd guess it isn't a possum, since they have white faces. It's probably a mouse or a rat, right?
