It's really quite common among bilingual nations to switch from one tongue to another. I've observed the same thing from other nationalities having lived in the US for close to a decade. I guess the main reason is a matter of convenience. Rather than uttering a mouthful using your native tongue, a shorter English word might be more effective and avoids possible mistranslations especially if one isn't sure that a certain word even has local counterpart in the first place.

Favorite ko na song nya is "sayang" maganda kasi yung tune and yung pagkakanta nya...and dito sa Album nya na bago aside from "Something in your eyes, maganda din yung "That's what forever is for"

She's very lucky na na-meet at nabigyan sya ng chance na makanta ang isa sa mga sinulat ni Richard...Galing! Thankful din talaga ko sayo Ms.Claire,dahil dito...nabigyan din ako ng chance na ma-meet ang kapatid ng idol kong si Karen, during her Album launching sa MOA.
Correction lang po, yung "Something in your eyes" ay isinulat po ni Ricard para kay Dusty Springfield, 4 years after Karen's death...mali yung info na "di na nakanta ni KC dahil namatay na sya.
