how do keep the knots from coming loose? I tried to do and could not seem to get my knots to stay.

H there, so sorry for the late response, I hope it's not too late. You'll need to tie/knot the 2 pieces you pulled thru the loop first then, I separate two smaller ones from those same 2 pieces and knot those 2-3 times as taut as I can without breaking the extensions. Great tutorial! @ 1:14-1:20 is a style itself. I'm going to try that with flat twist and see how it turns out...
