@jleer1 and to xXPinkPetalsXx Thanks for your valuable info - I appreciate it. I was stunned because this is what we call in Switzerland a "Zopf" and it used to be strictly a Sunday breakfast bread! Funny eh? Today it's also eaten on working days but has maintained its dominant Sunday role. Now I just wonder what the ingredients are - does any one of you have a recipe? Wouldn't it be great if it were the same :-)? Thanks in advance. Food brings people together ...

@ESO529 As it's called, Challah bread is a type of bread. I believe if originated in Eastern Europe within Jewish communities, and is a traditional food of the Jews. It is still commonly eaten in Eastern Europe, although it is now less commonly eaten in Western Europe and America, even in Jewish communities. Jewish bakeries often sell them, so if you are interested in buying a challah, you can find them there.

@ESO529 I'm pretty sure it's a Jewish tradition :)

I hate expert village.
they should use numbers to this videos if it's about the same bread or whatever. like How to make Challah Bread part1, then part 2 and so on but they don't which is only making everyone confused what's the next step lol.
