@jeffostroff They've also given it a 24-year run at Disneyland, California from 1972-1996, in case you don't remember.

Wonderful ! Congratulations !!!
just a little correction : Baroque Hoedown was written by Jean Jacques Perrey and Gershon Kingsley.
Don Dorsey has written the opening and closing of the parade ;)

i hope you had all the lights in the house off.

Awesome! I would love to do something like this. Do you do this every year? And that was the best light parade, IMO. I wish they'd bring it back for good. The music was so uplifting and really got the crowd cheering and clapping. I miss that.

The piece is officially called "Baroque Hoedown" by Jean-Jacques Perrey and Gershon Kingsley but was arranged by Don Dorsey specifically for the Main Street Electrical Parade back in 1972.

You captured a couple of my favorite things about Disney: "Please stand clear..." and the Eletrical parade. Thanks!

It was called Main Street Electrical Parade. They used it at Disney World in the 1980's.

very painstaking, took about 12 hours with the MP3 file of this song, and software that looks like aspreadsheet to tell the lights every 1oth of a second to turn off or on or fade.
