This is our LauderdaleChristmas.com 26,200 holiday lights display with 80 channels from 5 computerized lighting controllers. You import an MP3 off your CD, and using software, you act as orchestrated, tell the lights when to turn on or off, fade, twinkle, etc. An MP3 player inside the controller plays the music and controls the lights according to your programmed orchestration. We transmit it to people's cars via an unused radio station frequency.

  • @jeffostroff They've also given it a 24-year run at Disneyland, California from 1972-1996, in case you don't remember.

  • super !Good

  • Wonderful ! Congratulations !!!

just a little correction : Baroque Hoedown was written by Jean Jacques Perrey and Gershon Kingsley.

Don Dorsey has written the opening and closing of the parade ;)

  • i hope you had all the lights in the house off.

  • Awesome! I would love to do something like this. Do you do this every year? And that was the best light parade, IMO. I wish they'd bring it back for good. The music was so uplifting and really got the crowd cheering and clapping. I miss that.

  • This brings back so many memories when I was little this is so cool. Good Jo on the syncronization to the song!

  • The piece is officially called "Baroque Hoedown" by Jean-Jacques Perrey and Gershon Kingsley but was arranged by Don Dorsey specifically for the Main Street Electrical Parade back in 1972.

I have always loved this piece of music ever since seeing the Parade in LA In '92!
