The fruit of the almond is not a true nut, but a drupe, consisting of an outer hull and a hard shell with the seed ("nut") inside. So yes you are correct Bob! LOL 'its not the best thing I ever put in my mouth.' Veggomite ICK EWWW Just say no! You made him snort, awesome! So that was a big old thumbs down! I love the idea of taste testing on the channel videos sometimes. Well, sorry to say but I have to have my meats. I do not like tofu except in soups. HUGS xoxo

All true nuts are seeds. How does that almond cheese taste? I've been trying to figure out cheese substitutes for dishes because a few people I know are deathly allergic to dairy.

Almonds are not real nuts. They are drupes and a seed is inside it. A drupe is also known as a stonefruit, ie. peach. Real nuts are people. :) I would rather end my meat celibacy than put that meat subtitute in my mouth :) just saying
