Kubota BX 2200 Improvised Snow Plow

More then 30 cm (11 inches) of snow is rare here, but this winter after four years of practically 'no-snow' winters we got quite a load. As such we didn't had a snow plow ready.. So I made one out of thick wooden beams and a metal plate, attached it to the 3-point-hitch with clamps.

Works reasonably for one season, but after this we need a real all metal snow plow, attached to the front to easy my neck..

The snow was heavier then expected, and found myself short on weight sometimes. Horsepower and traction are not really an issue, turfs do better then AG's or Industrials in snow it seems.

We didn't quite get that much snow in the UK in Jan but is was bad. minus 20 (unheard of in Britain) I think it was in the first week of the new year . The canal was so frozen you could walk on it. whole country ground to a halt. Seems you found the way forward. good work matey!

@themattin Yeah, but the fun was over after the fourth week of snow...

Thankfully I discovered I could take corners sideways at full speed LOL.

That lifted my spirit just enough :P
