  • Good point I do agree with you, I can't wait till this kid gets really strong, he could take climbing to another level.

  • "Stop shaking my hand, I want to take my fucking shoes off."

  • Sharma had the same jerky action when he was 16 too. I think it's natural climbing. Just do it! Not worried about how he looks...just getting to the top.

  • @Climbing Chrispy

"Sharma or Graham would be much more chill on a problem. None o that jerky shit."

Sharma?! Have you ever watched him on a hard boulder problem? Not exactly the most graceful climber. He is one of my favorites though.

  • your so right

  • Everyone has their own style. Whether he makes the send look pretty or not is up to him.

  • true, he's not as smooth, but he's how old?! and he's on sharma's heels doing all the same problems as him. it's really not about how static your movements are when you're on a 9a+, just that fact of doing it is epic

  • This is not figure skating - AO may not be that strong as Sharma or Graham, yet his technical abilities and the way he reads the rock are unique - thats way he is able to put up 9a+/9b FA in 15 attempts in compare with Sharmas...hundreds? (+AO is known for stiff grading). Sharma himself said he felt like amateur watching AO.
