The late great Art Porter had to kill it on the way out. My young adult children tell me that their friends look at them strange for knowing who "these artists" are! Would to God that we knew this music better than the streets. The quintessential definition of "Cool"!

This song is so good, it gives me goosebumps! Definitely the best from the late, great Art Porter. Gone too soon..... Rest in peace, sweet man. Your music still lives on!

I'm here on a muggy Sunday watching thunderstorms roll in to make me change my weekend plans--but, after finding your great vid and the timeless art of Art Porter in his song, I feel better. I've hit Replay several times, changed to headset from speakers and wanted to say thanks mikkirasmus for the great upload. "Lake Shore Drive" was a piece I remember sticking with me from the 1990s Smooth Jazz breakout.
