There are those that think Jackie Gleason's role as Buford T Justice sucked and these movies were a waste of film. While I agree, they were stupid scripts, the 2 movies had good humor and sarcasm. I liked part 2 better with the elephant. Jackie was funny and stupid in this and that's what his character was supposed to be. Lines like "Junior, there is no way you could of come from my loins. I'm gonna go home and kick your momma in the butt".

I was in Smokey and the Bandit II, In the scene where Junior had to take a pee and couldn't get his zipper up after. When Buford T. Justice bent over to fix it, 5 good old boys at the front of the gas station were laughing at them.
