So true he was ahead of his time. I grew up with him as my fave sk8er to follow. He is the best when I was sk8ing.

I remem seeing Matt in Transworld back in the day and his stuff was blowin our minds!!! Saw him in Shackle me not and we were trying all that stuff. so in touch with his balance over the board and a true innovator!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my god. It's funny cuz I just learned that double tweak and came up with it on my own but this just goes to show you that they were doing things years ago that you thought were never done before.
