CHERRY BLOSSOM FESTIVAL 2010 - WASHINGTON DC

Millions of people from all over the states, as well as from other countries flock to Washington DC to experience the Cherry Blossom Festival which commemorates the gift to the city of Washington of 3000 cherry trees from a Japanese Mayor in 1912. The trees are planted alonside the Tidal Basin of the Jefferson Memorial building & adds beautiful color to the capital of the United States, hence, welcoming the spring season.
