When all of my friends had their periods , I really wanted to have mine. All of us started early and my best friends ha dtheirs when they were like ... 9 or 10 . And I was 11 at the time and I felt really left out . I had it later in november when I was eleven . And now that im twelve . I SERIOUSLY cannot believe I EVER wanted this.

Because it's considered THE sign that you're "a woman". Kids are usually pretty eager to grow up, so to get this concrete sign of womanhood is often an exciting thought for girls.

@TheNature21 i was the happiest person in the world! ! ! i was smiling and happy and i had an overwelming feeling of joy on that point i knew that all my plans had changed since i had already planned a life with infertility and when i got my PD all my plans were changed and i wont have to adopt like i was planning on doing i could now have kids of my own! ! ! :D im still happy the best part is my period lasted for 7 days i was so upset when it was gone :( but it'll come back soon :)
