Thanks! This was a great video. I checked your other motion test videos and with the Nex5 you can really see the individual lines on the train. Sold on the camera.
Lines are not blurred.

all of you are idiots... its a motion test.. focus on the lines dumb dumbs... its one of the best hd cams on the market ... look at all the other MOTION TEST ... AND COMPARE... IN ALL THE OTHER THE TEST THE LINES BLUR AND BLEND TOGETHER... IE, poor quality...smart ass dumb people.. no nothing at all about video...

Can you comment on how this video looks when played back @ 1080 60i? Once uploaded to YouTube @ 720P we're reviewing the conversion process of your editing software more than the camera itself.
I shoot my kids frequently so motion is a real concern. Truely wish this camera had a 720P option for video. Its the one item that's derailing the purchase. I have 0 experience shooting interlaced but expect slo motion effects to take a serious hit. Low hopes that Sony Vegas can deinterlace well.

just wondering... how did you get 1080p @30fps on Sony Nex5??

@noaxbr Sorry about that. The correct resolution is 1920 x 1080 with a 60i frame rate. The camera does record 1440 x 1080 with a 30p frame rate, though, but that's not what we used in our testing.
