I prefer Werewolves but it depends on what Vampire they are fighting I don't think there is one Werewolf who has the power to hang with Hellsing's Alucard that Vamp could probably take on every werewolf from every movie at the same time and win.

I have researched vampires and werewolves in fiction, historically speaking, not twilight and shit. A vampire can take any form of creatures of the night, this includes bats of course, rats, even fog, and yes, a wolf, therefore vampires suffer both being Nosferatu and holding lycanthropy, meaning metamorphism, not necessarily werewolves alone. Also, it is told that you must sever a werewolves head, for after death they resurrect as vampires, therefore there are no winners and no losers. :)
