The blue dot is the Brompton folding bike and the yellow dot is me on the specialised sirrus road bike.
I was convinced there would be a huge time saving by commuting on the bigger road bike.
The movie comparison was created in Ascent the GPS training log for mac.

  • @1972postiephil I guess it depends on the road surface and the gearing of each of your bikes. On smooth level roads Bromptons are very good at accelerating up to 27mph.

  • I HAVE ALSO DONE A RACE TO WORK ON MY BROMPTON AND MY TOURING ROAD BIKE AND THE BROMPTON WAS 10 MINS SLOWER OVER 12 MILES.THE LITTLE WHEELS DO NOT HOLD YOU UP MUCH.LOVED THE WAY YOU SHOWED YOUR RACE .
