Crokinole action

Thanks for the look in with the new discs. Nice work going through Hogan's Alley. I'm glad you finally sunk a couple at the end, I was afraid the 20 hole was too smail maybe ;^). The last shot is great, don't you just love it when the disc almost consciously decides "Oh why not, I guess I'll just fall in; to heck with Newton, hurrah for a bit of luck and let ying prevail over yang."

I didn't know that alley had a name. I'll have to look up the origin of Hogan's Alley. This was the "second take".  There would have been a third if I hadn't hit a couple of 20s.

Someone told me that it was named after the golf great Ben Hogan and a paricularly narrow course he was good at navigating or maybe he designed it. or both. But then on further research I found that it is the name of the shooting gallery the FBI has to sharpen agents aim and reaction to danger response. You know, the urban maze with the pop-up targets. But the FBI got the name from a comic strip, some say the first comic strip, that featured characters in a disreputable neighbourhood.
