Went there as a kid in the seventies on a saturday morning, mostly for the fighting if i remember ! Sad to see it disappear forever

yes its been pulled down theres a vid on here somwhere shame theres some photos on flicr of the insides and there was some valuable stuff in there all lost now

Don't recall the Brand Name, sorry. The building has now gone and equip long before.
I did some one-offs there when it still operated - 35mm machines illuminated by carbon arc and with manual winding of the rod. Slides (in the interval) were hand drawn on glass plates.
House light dimmers were exposed coils on the wall. Even in around 1978 I hired in a pair of projectors for a show I didn't want to become a disaster!

does anybody know if this has been demolished...and what has happened to the projectors anybody know what make they were...lots of people interested in collecting these

Why on earth the owners have sold that up after 30 years of neglect goes beyond me, they must be paying a fortune in council tax onit but not doing anything with it to make a penny.
Probly some very collectable stuff lying around in there to, what a waste!
